    Sonax PNS

What shampoo do you guys use with PNS?

I know wax weakens it, so would Chemical Guys CWG deteriorate my protection?

After using Adams shampoo last week and my beading seemed weaker, so I`m a bit concerned about which shampoo to use.

I have used Lusso Auto Bathe (my favorite 2bm soap) and Honeydew Snow Foam with no ill effects that I know of.

I use Adam`s and Duragloss car wash. I haven`t noticed any negative effects as a result of either product.

Auto Finesse Lather Car Shampoo, Dodo Juice Born to be Mild and Ultima Paint Guard Wash are all great mild maintenance shampoos I would use.

My guess is that the Adams car wash is really degrading the PNS as much as it`s leaving something behind. Even a wax isn`t degrading the PNS per say; it is simply leaving something behind that changes the surface characteristics. And any shine enhancing / polymer / wax soaps will do this.

There are a number of soaps that "don`t leave anything behind". I have and use a few of them and there are even more.

    • Wolfs: Mean Green (one of my favorite rinse-less washes especially for "coatings" since it leaves nothing behind and is a super slick and good rinse-less.
    • Megs: D114 Rinse Free Express Wash (Another good rinse-less)

      __
    • Meg`s: Hyperwash (My favorite "regular soap")
    • CarPro: Reset (A great soap for coatings. One of my new favs)
    • Dodo Juice: B2BM (Nice for waxes IMO)
    • CG: CW&C (a good option)
    • CG: HDSF (HoneyDew)
    • CG: MrPink (Crap IMO)
    • CG: Maxi-Suds (just okay)

    Wow great list, thanks!

I`ll have to give some of these a try...
