Waterless wash`s streaking

After trying blackfire wet diamond waterless I loved the workings, easy on and off with no marring and no streaking, however its very difficult to obtain in the uk as I want the concentrate, so ive been working my way through whats available but all ive tried have a grabby, streaking and buffing off issues which I spend more time buffing off than application.

Desperate to try out the ultima plus but again difficult to get, recent one is dp waterless autowash but again streak on and buff off issues as well as optimum.
The only other ive yet to try is pinnacle but its the added wax, id like to have a polymer type booster as the car is finished either in blackfire midnight sun wax or afpp or crystal seal.

Any ideas to whats causing the issues?

Are you diluting the products yourself? I`ve had trouble before using a higher dilution ratio with streaking. I thought more product would yield better results, until I noticed streaking. Be sure to use the recommended dilution ratios with *distilled* water for best results.

Work out of direct sunlight and use multiple clean, soft microfiber towels, like the Super Plush MF Towels or Supreme 530`s. Flip the towels often to use a clean side. Then use a fresh side to buff the area. Plan on using a lot of microfiber towels. Use fresh towels more often and you`ll notice better results with any waterless wash.

Don`t forget to wash your towels the correct way and no fabric sheets when drying.

I`ve used DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss mixed as a WW (as per directions) with no streaking issues on my black car. Works fantastic as a rinseless too!

My guess is the problem is caused by crappy products. If I`m reading your post right - you didn`t mention what exact product your having issues with.

Pinnacle, UWW+, BF, OptiClean, & Gary Deans Juice don`t streak on black.

Are you using Chemical Guy`s Waterless?

Re: Waterless wash`s streaking

Have problems with all waterless wash, I cant seem to buy the concentrate versions as there harder to get but have received the ready to use versions.
The recent one is dp autowash, the only waterless wash ive used so far that wipes on and off with no issues is the blackfire waterless wash.

Just wondering if its down to compatability issues?

Awaiting the ultima plus to come back in stock to try that as I cant seem to get bfwd waterless wash concentrate.

Think some pics will help this so give me time to post some up.

Re: Waterless wash`s streaking

Ahhh.... just noticed something.... when I ordered the dp autowash concentrate from waxyclean.co.uk the product arrived leaking, on opening the product it was wrong as they sent the autowash ready to use. Ive just pored some into a cup and its a very very pale orange colour.
Compared to a mike phillips vid on line this product has a brighter orange colour.
As I mailed the company stating it was leaking I did however get a very prompt £24 refund back so this is obtained free but now its got me thinking it isn`t what its supposed to be.

Or am I jumping to conclusions here?

Re: Waterless wash`s streaking

Right chap`s had another go with both waterless wash`s today and think its down to the ambient outside temp, normally I settle the kids in bed so around 7.30pm gives me around 3 hrs to play with the car, however last night we were hitting around 11oc where as today its 18oc, applied as directed and both products work flawless, the dp after wipe disappears into finish only leaving a gentle buff to remove remaining.

So my answer to this is obviously use the product sooner rather than wait till later, I have noticed that temp drops here around 8.30 and some nights weve been at 9oc while ive been trying to use..lol... hence why grabby and streaking.

Yup, tried UWWP with less dilution and it streaked on black paint.
