Try Simple Green and a stiff brush. Worked pretty well for me. I`m sure there is better stuff but you can`t go wrong with trying this out. Just make sure to wipe down the area with a wet rag afterwards so it doesn`t get slippery when wet.

The easy route will be to rent a HOT water pressure washer and a surface cleaner. The rental place should also have the proper chemicals for your need.

My cold water unit does a good job, it just takes time. A hot water unit will emulsify (sp?) the oil much quicker.

Have tried a couple of things in the past.

    1) If the spill is outside where the sun can reach it, put down several layers of newspaper and soak the paper with water.
Hold paper down with some bricks and let the paper completely dry up. The oil gets pulled into the paper when the water evaporated.

2)Have some absorbal around all the time, these granuals will soak it up.

3)Simple Green will clean up the rest.

I have found on oil stains that WD40 sprayed genereously on it, work it around a bit to soften. thins out the "dried" oil, then put some cat litter on and let it sit for a 1/2 day or so to soak up the wd40 and the thinned out oil - redo if not happy - it works for me. MTS
