I like the old one, the car in the new one looks too photo shopped.
Just a sugestion, but on the original is there any way to move the car move to the center? My eyes seem to be drawn to the open white space.

Here's one way to look at it. You're going to give these out like hot cakes. If you make the change and decide you don't like them you can always switch back next time you print. I kind of like the new ones. Change is good. By the way, neither of them suck.

Of the two shown I prefer the first one but not the gray background color. I would think a darker color (top & bottom) would enhance and contrast the white print.

The grey isn't working for me either. I would just have a simple card to match your website header and detail trailer.
Maybe list a few things that make you a good choice for them.
- how long you have been in the business
- training you have had
- What all you work on ie. cars, boats, planes, fleets etc...
It's gonna be the impression you make when handing them the card that will get them to use you. There aren't many people that will choose a detailer by the look of their card.
Your trailer gives a first impression as well as your website or any mailer or advertisement, but the card should be just a source of contact info for them and the logo on it should remind them of your website, trailer or advertisement.
If I had to rely on the look of my card to get me business, I would be pretty slow right now.
As for the butt head comment You are off my Christmas list!

I tend to think that less is more with cards...
Listing your years in experience would be helpful
The logo car should not over take the writing....you don't want the person to focus on the first
All that said I still like the original design...it flows OK for me. A bit busy with the stars and boarders...one thing is that you don't need to have every space available on the card filled up with something
