Mytee S300 Tempo Spotter - What's wrong with this?? - 02-10-2007, 02:22 PM

Couldn't the S300 Tempo Spotter be used as an interior detailing tool the same way the larger extractors are used? I understand that it is a cold water unit, but wouldn't applying a pre-treat solution (Prochem, etc.) and then maybe pre-scrubbing the carpet/upholstery with a good shampoo mixed with hot water by hand, scrub brush, and bucket...and then follow up with the Tempo spotter do an awesome job too? For $319, I'm very tempted!

For about $200 more you can get a hot water extractor, well worth the extra $$. Low discounted prices on carpet cleaning equipment, extractors, and carpet cleaning supplies

You could try filling up a 5 gal bucket with water, putting a bucket heater in there, waiting 20 min and pour that water into the solution tank and turn it into a hwe. I believe they are only $30 or so.
