Logo Design - 03-03-2006, 05:58 PM

Where did you go to get your logos designed, or did you do it yourself? I've always had the hardest time trying to come up with something for my own business. Working on designs for other people doesn't seem to be a problem, but I've never been able to come up with something that I am satisfied with for myself. I sent a request to SolidCactus.com for a logo design quote and they told me it would be $750 for three concepts and two tweaks to the one I picked. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I decided to look around a little. So I'm just curious where you guys head when you are looking for this kind of thing.

Well, I got mine done from a guy here on DC
......wait...it was you!
You do awesome work.....I guess it would be different doing it for yourself vs. someone else.

Here is mine, so everyone can see what a knock out job you do...

Keith from http://www.kbkgraphx.com/ has done a lot of logos for pressure washing companies. He also does postcards and other marketing materials. From what I have heard he's affordable and willing to make as many revisions as needed.

I still don't know what I want for a logo for our company so until I do I won't spend the money.

Vistaprint.com has a logomaker that is pretty basic, but not bad for only $49. I couldn't design one up to my standards but you may want to check them out anyways.

Got the site now and working on that but need a logo. You made a quick one which is fine but wanted to see if you had any other ideas Slogan is Every Detail Counts (which I like because it has 2 meanings)

Re: Logo Design - 03-08-2006, 05:50 PM

Update: I just swapped services with a local graphic design company, a detail for a logo (2 hours.) I don't know why I didn't do this a while ago, all I did was ask and he went ahead and did it for me. I was absolutely clueless as to what I wanted, I just told him something simple, makes people think about detailing/clean cars. I'll post pics on Friday at the latest.

I had some guy online do it for me, He is really a cool guy, and gets the logo done really quick. I loved the first design idea he gave me, and for a bargain too.
