I`ve been trying different products with my Cyclo and seem to get varying results. There must be some long time users of Cyclo`s out there so how about some recommendations?..

    Thanks In Advance

products im assuming polishes an wax and glazes right?

    and what specfic polish,wax,glaze?

and finally what have you tried and what didnt you like and what are you try to work on?

by the way somewhere in there you might want to add what pads you have and used with each product you tried....

I like 1z polishes and the discontinued (but still available) 3M PI-III RC 05933 and PI-III MG 05937. Hi-Temp is good too, but I only used their Light Cut Leveler and that was a long time ago. Others have used a lot of their products (Heavy Cut, etc.) with the Cyclo and reported good results.

For LSPs, liquid waxes and pastes all seem to work well.

I mostly use 1Z polishes (especially PP) and Optimum Polish and the two compounds. All have a long work time and produce beautiful results. The 1Z stuff has fillers, but the Optimum doesn`t. They`re all great products (and both brands work excellent by hand, as well).

Great results so far with Optimum, Meguiars and Clearkote. Werkstatt`s Prime is an absolute breeze to use with the white Cyclo pads, btw.

ScottWax- Which Meg`s products work well for you by Cyclo (and with which pads)?

#80 seemed to do more hiding/less correcting than usual when I tried it by Cyclo with the green pads; I was kinda when I followed it with an AIO-type product and uncovered a lot of leftover marring (this was on the A8).

Just to add to what others have said. All the Menzerna`s work well for me with the Cyclo.

I used it with the white Cyclo pad, I really don`t like the green pads, very prone to marring on softer paints. The orange pad leaves some marring initially but it seems to soften somewhat and after a panel or two, it seems to cut more aggressively and with less marring than the green pad. I am going to order some of the green Propel light cut pads, they seem perfect for #80 with the PC, I am hoping with the Cyclo I can get more cut.

Thanks for your advise guys. Unfortunately most of the products that you mention aren`t available here. But some I will contact and see if I can buy off them directly.

ScottWax- OK, thanks for the info. With all the hard paint I`m used to working with I get set in my ways, so it`s helpful to hear what`s good in other situations.

I`ll be interested to hear how the green Propel pads work out.
