There is a new fan of Poorboy's APC - 11-20-2009, 07:41 AM

I have been out of detailing for business or pleasure for over a year. I lurk on the forum but have not been posting since I didn't have hands on experience taking care of my own vehicle.

Well the wife was cleaning the shower stall in our bathroom the other day. She did not say and I did not ask how the scratches on the windows of the shower stall came to appear but I was asked by my wife if I would try to get rid of them. I tried several over the counter products that my wife had on hand including brushes, window cleaners, bathroom scrubs, and CLR. Non of which would even put a dent into the marks on the stall.

When non of these seemed to do anything other than tire me out I thought of a time when I was dealing with water spots on my old black truck that had set idle for six months on the street outside my house while I was working in Alaska. So I brought out the detail box with all of my Poorboy products.

It was a simple matter to clean it off using Poorboy's APC first. I then I brought out the big guns of SSR 3 and the PC on 6. Followed that with Poorboy's ProPolish. I used a black 7.5 inch pad with little or no cut to it. I wanted the let the products do the work rather than trying to abrade it with a wool pad or other high cut buffing pad. Now the glass and the rest of the shower stall are clean, clear and shining like a diamond in a goat's butt. I should go over it with some sealant and top it off with some Natty's. I just might . hehe!

IT was fun to get the old PC out to do a little detailing. My wife is happy. So all is right with the world today!! (I should have taken pictures...but I did not. You will have to trust me when I say the wife is happy. That's a good thing!!)

Thanks to Poorboy's for all their great products. Now all I need to do is get a truck that I like to detail again.

You don't want the wife getting a hold of too many of your detailing products or you won't have enough left for your truck

I turned my wife on (that sounds funny) to PB APC some time back, she uses it for general house cleaning, mixed in a spray bottle 10 to 1

Well, I ordered some APC from Poorboy's after "turning my wife on" to APC. Steve made a comment about it being a life time supply. What ever my Baby wants I try to get.

My wife was buying that OTC kitchen & bathroom cleaners. I tried them a few times then told her, let take care of this. So I got fancy spray bottle with some flowers and such on, and filled that with PB APC and she was cured. The best part is its WAY cheaper and much more effective!
