Just used it for the first time today and had great results. It doesn't attract dust an dirt to tires, and it smells like a pina colada.

A+ on product. I also am about to order the QD+

im really digging this stuff too. lasts a heck of a lot longer than i ever expected. but maybe thats just becuase its dry here. really cleaned up my tires nice

Interesting. Mine smells like coconut.
Great product for tires. If you spray it on and use a brush, it will do a good job of cleaning unless the tire is really bad. I haven't needed to clean the tires on our vehicles since I started using the BnB.
I spray it on, use the brush,then wipe off the BnB with an old terry towel. Leaves a dry, matte finish which is just what I want.

I caution you on one thing!

That pina colada can be additive


I use it on my wells it makes them look like new!!

I like it in engine compartments too ... if it's not too dirty and in need of an APC/ Degreaser, then just spray it all over and walk away

I just picked up some of this for the first time. I can't wait to use it, hopefully today. Is the cleaning power enough that wiping with a towel can take care of the tire in one app? Or do you rinse with water after scrubbing and then dress it?

I degreased the tire with palmolive dish soap and a degreaser, then rinsed, then applied the tire dressing with a tire swipe and scrub brushed in in.

If the tire is bad enough for me to decide not to be lazy, I clean it with APC. Then dress with BnB.
Normally I just use BnB with a paint brush and finished.

I spray it on, scrub the tire with a medium bristle brush and wipe the tire dry with an old cotton terry towel.
Since I do this every time I wash the vehicle, it isn't a problem cleaning the tire with just the BnB.
I don't like shiny tires so the matte finish I get when I wipe off the BnB is just what I'm looking for.

Even for my personal vehicles, I clean the tire first with car wash soap and/or an APC (4:1 or 1:1). I then go back around with the BnB in a spray bottle and spray the tire and agitate with one of the wheel brushes.

What APC do you use? I used some Megs APC 4:1 and I am worried it is a bit strong for tires but it needed something since normal car wash nor ONR using a sponge could remove the dirt.

FWIW, I have never had any luck cleaning tires without the use of a brush.
If I use a brush, any of several products have done a good job of cleaning.

i agree with Charles ... a sponge won't cut it for tire cleaning ... a good stiff brush is usually needed

I have/use a number APCs including (in no particular order) PB's, Meguiar's (the discountinued citrus based one - can't remember the name and I'm not at home. Good enough that I bought several gallons before it was discontinued.), Simple Green, Awesome (available locally at the Dollar Tree chain), Orange Blast (available locally at many W-M stores), P21S TAW and the list goes on and on and on

I haven't found a cleaner that was "too strong" for tires. In all of my years, I have never had a tire failure resulting from using too strong of a cleaner. And I lived in the era of white walls.

I agree with Charles and Steve, a moderately stiff tire brush is essential for getting tires their cleanest.
