Anyone go from the Cyclo to the Flex? - 10-29-2008, 10:46 AM

Just wondering if anyone had made the switch. I know alot of folks have upgraded from the PC to the flex, just wondering if any cyclo users had done the same.

I had strongly considered it but the backing plate issues stopped me cold.

I know that people have made this change but at what point is it really an upgrade?

My understanding is that the Flex can do a bit more in the way of correction and that it is easier to use for longer periods than the Cyclo. With that said, the only one of the machines I have experience with is the Cyclo. I felt that it was well balanced. The main drawback I had with it was that was single speed (and it was bulky at times).

I don't believe in grit guards.

I've said this half a dozen times and still feel it to be the case. The PC will do what I need to do most of the time. In the times that it isn't enough machine I break out the Rotary, I have several. I just haven't felt the need for something to fill the middle ground.
