Clear coat cleaner on single stage paint

1995 Volvo with single stage paint. Two days, two areas.

For some reason on day two I pulled out the clear coat cleaner and wondered why I hadn`t used it on day one.

Anyone else use CCC on single stage paint?

First day, washed, clay bar and used 7424 DA + Ultimate Cutter on a yellow pad.
This was the hood after washing. Not pretty.

    After clay.

After three passes with Ultimate Cutter and single app. liquid wax.

Day two. Deck lid. Paint not as bad as the hood. This time though I used a clear coat cleaner on the single stage paint.
    Start.

After one pass with yellow pad and clear coat cleaner. Very little effort required on this. Was pleasantly surprised.

Finished section. Only used a paste wax to finish up after the clear coat cleaner. Yeah, the emblem is pretty ratty but that gets taken care of tomorrow when I`m not half asleep.

I`m interested in the answer too. Looks to have gotten quite a bit of correction from it.

    I used a mid/lower end product ( so I`ve been told ) PRO WAX / BAF Industries
CLEAR CUT CLEAR COAT CLEANER and paste wax by the same company.

Difficult to see results due to the color of the car.

thats looks pretty interesting. how much paint transfer did you get on your pads from the single stage paint. the correction is pretty amazing.

The Volvo sure turns out great!
but may I ask what is a "Clear Coat Cleaner"?
Is it a compound or what?

Decent is a good word to describe the product. It sure cut some time over using their ULTIMATE CUTTER.

Pretty sure a high speed buffer and wool pad would have made quicker work of the issue.

That came out good for use this the pc 7424. The high speed polisher would have been faster. just have to mind the trail marks.

Pro makes some good stuff actually. They make some killer dressing called Premo that I would put against any boutique dressing out there.
