Backing plate and pads - 09-03-2010, 11:29 AM

Whats the best combo out there now. I have 6.5" lc pads and am thinking about dropping to the 5.5" plate and pads. It seems to me the ones I have now absorb a lot of the polish, do they make a pads that dont absorb the polish?

Is it also normal for the pc to vibrate a lot on higher speeds. I am using the counterweight and backing plate that same with it when I purchased it several years back.

I have started using the compressor pads and have found they work really well. As far as retaing polish how much are you putting on the pads?

I like beer. On occasion I will even drink a beer to celebrate a major event such as the fall of communism or the fact that our refrigerator is still working.

I find the PC vibrates more on the lower speeds. Mine pretty much runs at full power most of the time too impatient - lol
