What products does everyone use with there PFW?

The beauty of this pad is it is a good choice for any product you plan to use.

I've said before that my favorite thing to do with this pad now is apply my sealant with it. The pad is very well made and nice and soft.

The only caution I give and this goes for any pad is - make sure you don't use it with dried sealant or polish from previous uses still in it. I have started keeping mine in zip lock bags to keep the sealant from drying out. It's not easy to clean a good sealant out of these pads especially once it has dried.

Troy I agree, I used UPP the other day and I let the pad soak in a bucket with soap. After I took the pad to the sink and tried some dawn using my hands to try and get evrything out. The pad seemed clean but still smelt like UPP.

I thought this pad was for heavy cutting? It doesn't cause marring or holograms using it with a light cut polish or sealer like you stated? I could use it with M105 and or M205?

This pad does have the potential to marr but it is all in how it is used. It would not be my choice for final polishing where pressure is still needed to polish the paint. Applying sealant after final polishing however can be done fast and easy using this pad. The key is not to apply pressure and use only the weight of the buffer.

I started doing this recently through an experiment. My wife wanted to apply the sealant with the FLEX and I wanted to make it as easy as possible for her to control the machine. The purple foamed wool pad does just that, and in every case I have used it on so far, it has not marred the finish when used like this.

I love my PFW pads with M105 and Menz PG. I take a brush to it after every second section and like to keep it really clean for each panel. I've even used it with SIP for a little finesse on certain vehicles.

I'll be honest, I never even considered it for applying sealant.

I used mine over the weekend and I do like the way it moves over the car using a orbital. It covers the panels IMO better than a hard foam one, seems to bend pretty well.....you need to use much less product of the pads clogs up is what I found and you have to lift up on the unit to keep good speed on the unit. Lastly IMO wool is for cutting and even with this wool pad on the orbital you just don't have the speed to do correction that you get with a rotary..just my take on it

I'll be trying it out this week once I get my order in from DC, i'll let you know how it goes
