im ready to buy a da polishing kit any reccomendations i like porter cable what would be a an all around kit

do i need all the different pads to start out with or can i get decent results with one color cutting pad and one type of polish

I use a cyclo but for me I could get away with orange medium cutting, green light cutting polish and a finishing pad. I have'nt used a PC but it is said that the cyclo has more paint correction abilities so I suggest waiting for some other opinions from PC users.

This is a good starter kit: Porter Cable 7424 Dual Action Polisher & 5.5" CCS Foam Pad Kit

For polishes, I would recommend Poorboy's SSR2.5 : Poorboy's World SSR2.5 Super Swirl Remover and SSR1 : Poorboy's World SSR1 Super Swirl Remover . Poorboy's polishes are very user friendly and provide great results.

With that kit and the PB polishes, you will be prepared for almost anything.
