Lake Country Kompressor Pads Review - 02-08-2009, 11:25 AM

I got to try these new pads today on the beater at home. First off is the White Kompressor pad the I use SIP and 106FA. It work like a charm and there was no hopping at all. From there I use the Red and Black Pad with 85RD and it works awesome, must be those little blades in the pads. Cleaning them was so easy, and no one shouldn't have a problem doing that. I give it a must buy on these pads, their are going to be my go to ones from now on. I didn't use the purple pad because I need a surface that was wet sanded with at least 1000- 1500 grit to try out. Thank you Meghan for letting me try these new Lake Country Kompressor Pads.....................

Considering the segmented structure of the pad facing, a) how is the cleaning ability of the pad? ie. does product work its way down into the pad making it more difficult to clean. and b) how durable do the pads appear. It would seem that this design would make tearing a pad almost inevitable.

The polish seem to me didn't go all the way down in the groves, maybe half way? time will tell on how they will last. I do like these pads and will be ordering some in the near future.

We are getting our first shipment of these pads in tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to giving these pads a try too. Especially with the FLEX. If they perform as well as I expect I will probably have them in most of the FLEX kits we sell.
