No problem Norah, and Charles is right the list seems to keep growing, but as long as them keep coming out with new stuff I will just keep adding on to the list.

Norah was nice enough to also do the chart in color and in a different lay out which some people like so, here is a pic and a link that you can down load and print out and laminate for your very own :biggrin:
P.S. the file has both layouts and all the backing plate info as well

So sorry for this dumb question. I was told to use the blue Sonus DAS pad for AIO. Now that I am looking at the table, shouldn't I be using the green one?

Nothing says that you can't use it, but I prefer to use a polishing pad W/ AIO. Yes, that would be the green or white Sonus pad depending on which ones you have.
Now do you see why I prefer to say type, rather than color of pad. 1 manufacturer and 2 different colors for the same type of pad.

One other question, J: Where would Meguiar's First Step (Cleaner) fall under? Polishing, Dual Purpose, or Light Cutting? In whatever case, what Sonus DAS Pad should I use for Meg's First Step?

If you are referring to the Deep Crystal system, go with the polishing pad first.
Remember to take the least aggressive combination first.
Madman: If you have invested in a pc and pads, can I ask why you are going with OTC products, when there are so many fine products that will perform better, and are available from our sponsors. Not to say that step one won't work, but there are ones that will work better

J, I'm actually an AIO/UPP diehard. I top the UPP with Megs 16, 26, or S100. Prior to this month, I used to do everything by hand, until I discovered the wonders of the PC. So, I've been working with my random orbital ever since.
I was just wondering what other products I could use the PC on. Among the heap of products I have accumulated through the years, I found the Megs Deep Crystal Step One was one which I could not determine with which pad to use. So, it was more of an intellectual exercise on my part to match the products with the proper pads.

It seems at Excel detail is clearing out and Pakshak is no longer carring the propel pads, and this is where I pulled my info from.
But I was able to find this on Excel detail
