Actually, I think they have a detailer that comes in to work on the car after it's painted. Don't know about Armstrong's car, but saw the detailers at work on other vehicles.

What made me cringe was when I saw the camera pan over the hoods of two black Grand Nationals in full sunlight in that new show on the History Channel called "Full Throttle". Obviously, no one bothered to do more than wash the cars because there were a ton of holograms on the car.

It reminds me of my evolution of how I viewed Knight Rider as I got older. When I was a kid, it was a cool show. As an adult in college, I watched it and thought "That just isn't possible". A few months ago, I saw and episode and said "Wow, the swirls are terrible in that finish!".

The funny thing is that makes Mothers look bad. LOL They plaster Mothers name all over but you know what, Foose does NOT use Mothers products. They use their own line of stuff. That is what I find odd.

On Rides last week they had Titus's Foose designed 56? Chevy. They showed them washing it after a rain and they showed some kid scrubbing the hell of out the fender. I also noticed how bad the finishes of the Grand Nationals were. To 99.9% of the people out there, they would say the paint was perfect, which is why only we see these things.

I noticed the very same thing when they panned the camera overhead. Could not believe the amount of swirls on an otherwise great paint job. Oh well.

Yup saw that...Amazing GTO, but the swirls = yuck :x

On Rides afterwards, the silver satellite had some swirls on the roof. Too bad

Overhaulin is still my favorite auto makeover show though , even though Courtney whatsherface is terribly annoying.

I noticed too but out of all the episodes that I have seen, this was the first time that I saw swirls on any of his cars. Most likely the detailer had very little time to work on it.
