What are animal fries? Fried in beef tallow?
JonHenry, I'm not the one bashin' on 5-Guys, I haven't eaten there yet.
But, yes TD, we have pretty high expectations for burgers we're here in beef country and there are a lot of burger joints that have raised the bar pretty high. It has been my experience that if there are more than two or three locations then I've probably been set up for disappointment. Dairy Queen was technically an exception to that rule. I ate at the original Fudrucker's back when it first opened in San Antonio, but feel that expansion has taken it's toll on that concept. But that won't stop me from giving it a try when In-N-Out makes its Texas debut (so long as there aren't any lines

).
Poorboy, I'm with you I can't stand a dried out patty. Fond memories of eating burgers whilst the juices dripped down both elbows.
