I never tried to check the fuel mileage at 150 mph but summer fore last I went out of state to a show and at 65 & 70 mph I averaged 34 mpg.
I have a programmable Accel Gen.7 wide band computer on it and I have it set so while cruising like that the air/fuel ratio gauge is showing 15.7
The MSD multi-fire ignition system helps the mileage also.
They claim that multi-fire will gain about 10% or more over a single spark I don't know why the auto industry has not used it yet??? Maybe the cost the bean counters sometimes rule.
As to the 198 that was what I felt comfortable with while taking the photo I have driven it much faster than that.
I have heavily modified the brakes/ suspension/wheels & tires are all non Corvette items.
I wanted it to look like a stock C4 while on the road the only thing that gives it away is the extra wide tires but since few people know enough about a Corvette they don't know but what it came with those.
The original 350 that came in it is setting in the storage shed not nearly enough cubic inches.
