I saw on the news today a Corolla ran away and went through a house.

People in it were not seriously injured but it will be an experience they will not forget for a while.

Toyota had a sticking pedal problem but they also have another problem that they have not addressed yet.

The pedals made in Canada was the CTS pedal headquartered in Elkhart,Indiana but it was only involved in the sticking pedal cases.

The sudden acceleration is the Denso pedal and they still have no answer for it.
In the hearing the CEO for Toyota USA stated that the pedal recall will NOT fix all the problems.

This unintended acceleration will continue until they find the real problem.
The newer cars when in for the recall will get the computer re-flashed to have a brake over ride but according to what Toyota said at the hearing the older ones can not be re-flashed and their are no plans on installing a upgraded system.

2010 Hyundai Santa Fe - Harbor Gray

Even sometimes I, in a moment of what could only be described as pure sanity, question the rationality of this obsession.
