Everything is closed here. Wife and kid are home from school.

We don't even have 1/2" on the ground yet.

Got a call from the town and they said it's really supposed to start here about 1:00. With totals from 10-20".

Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It's good to be da King !!!

The Texas Hill country where I reside is calling for a chance of snow. How long it lingers depends on how warm the ground is when it happens.Let us hope that there are not any freezing temperatures during this snow fest. It will be a mess in central Texas to get to work if the snow lingers. I am so lucky to be retired and not have to worry about going anywhere.

It is a far cry from my days in the interior of Alaska where a man warms himself twice if he burns wood. Now the only time I get warm twice is when I pay the electric bill each month. It helps heat the house and it burns me each month when I pay for it. LOL!

right now it would have been great for just a chance of snow ... I can see over 6" sitting on a plant outside my window

All the major highways around here are closed and the police just announced on the local news that if people are out on the roads driving, they first will be warned to turn back and go home. If they are caught driving a second time it will be a $300 fine.

good for them I'm watcing local news and there are cars, trucks, and semis all stuck in the snow causing problems ... emergency vehicles are at risk with all these people driving about

Thanks (901), I have considered that for a while because of her ever so jolly disposition, She is 42 pounds of pure love. Thank you so much for the link. I always wanted to involve her in such things but didn't really know how to go about it.
