Apple to show off new product today!

I have been waiting for a few weeks for this day. I am kind of a electronic nerd and Apple is releasing its new product today! All the You Tube and news articles say it will be the tablet that has been in developement and possibly even an iphone for Verizon Wireless. Either of the two is exciting to me, Apple puts out an incredible product.
I have owned a Mac powerbook for about 7 years now and if I can help it I will never buy another PC.

From what I can gather, it's a tablet that will use the Verizon network. Also, I believe they are going to announce that the iphone is no longer tied to only the AT&T network.

I would get a iphone but at&t around here is not good coverage at all, if they were to come to verizon i would be a happy man. Jarred i did see on yahoo tech this week that they were sticking with at&t, but who knows.

I have had my apple Laptop for a few months now. I love it. Although It is not a pc so there has been a learning curve. One reason why I do not post many pictures any longer. I am still learning.

With that said it would have to be free for me to have one. I have spent enough on tech.

I hope Iphone lets us use something other than AT&T.

Now my wife is beside herself with anticipation.

That decision would seem to be a no brainer. I was at a loss as to why any company would hamstring product sales by tying themselves to a single outlet. Especially a company who seems to think they are sooooo smart.

What operating system a person uses, or how smart a company is, is each person's individual choice, and I respect that. I switched to Apple 4 years ago, and have been anxiously awaiting todays announcement as well. Since Apple announced last week that their profits were up 50%, it will be interesting to see what the increase is next quarter. It's not always a bad thing to be #2...

While todays news is exciting, I was still upset that no announcement of the iphone release to Verizon. But from following Apples past trends they usually release new products in Mid Summer. So with any luck we will see and iphone by fall. At&t also has started to release palm devises wich hopefully means they are preparing for iphone to be available on other networks.
The ipad to me looks pretty cool. I currently have an ipod touch and use it more than any other gadget that i own. The ipad appears to be a larger size of the ipod with the capabilities of accessing the internet anywhere. It is not as mobile as the ipod but i think for surfing the web at home or checking email I may use an ipad more than my current laptop.

You will be a happy man, because I heard the i phone is switching to Verizon,I heard this a few months back from Big Box.
