For You In The Snow Areas!!! - 12-15-2007, 09:56 AM

I know that you get snow days that the roads are closed...here is a pic that you can send to your boss to prove that there is to much snow to come in.

BlueZero would be a good candidate for mayor of Autopiaforums.com.

Hmmm, I just might have to try that.

That's an odd looking tape measure. Metric maybe?

It isntnessarily the SNOW! Its the wind that comeswith it or in thecase the other day ICE! Weve had snow banks here up to 12 feet tall on the road above the house several times. It took the countiesroadpatrol a couple hours to cut through last March. We also had a storm a coupe years ago where tey put chains on the patrols, on the highway, and came at a few from both ends. The chain spin marks are still quite evident in the concrete. Now we have 2 inches of snow on top of the ice. RANDAL

Ha Ha ! The 20 inches of snow is funny. I have folks that call in saying they can't make it because of the weather. Imagine what they would do if we really have snow here!

I lived in Seattle many yeas ago. There was a record blizzard and the company had a recorded message stating the office was closed. The Mayor asked people to stay at home. Then about 2:00 PM my boss calls me and asks me "where are you?" Considering he called my home phone (pre cell phone age) I thought that was a pretty stupid question. He tells me "it business as usual here". The next day I learned he did not get to work until shortly before he called me. What a jerk!
