Poured like crazy today. We'll be hitting the Houston Auto Show tomorrow. I'll test out the new camera an some of the cars there. The Camaro concept will be there along with a bunch of other pretty cars.

It's 8:30 in the morning. If the weather is decent tomorrow I'll detail my father-in-law's car. It's white so I'll be using Carnuba Moose Wax as the topper.Right now I'm tired.

It is 9:30 here, and rain is in the forecast for all day. Its going to be a lazy Sunday for me.

It is 10:50 am and already completed a detail for the neighbor. I forgot how much fun a detail can be when all you do is wash, clean the paint, and cover with a sealant. 2.5 hours and still time enough to put another layer of Zaino on the truck today.

Do you guys think if I take a snap of my engine with my DIGI CAM and post a thread, you guys would be able to sort of use PAINT to circle the parts that need to be covered with foil?

Two things about this.
1. A knowledge of "Paint" would seem to be necessary.
2. An understanding of BMW electrics would be essential. Later BMW's have a lot of electronics and I would sure hate to be the one that caused you to damage something.
I have used foil in the past with no problems, but I do think on the BMW, i would use plastic wrap held with a few rubber bands.
A piece of aluminum foil welded to your alternator terminals might void your warranty.

As for Paint. I would just want a quick little circle around the areas.
