Do the stickies help?

I was wondering if the stickies we have are helpful?
And if they are, what ones should we have

I would say the best one to have would be hoe to get rid of
SWIRL MARKS thats the biggest thing it seams

I think they are helpful for the new people who just signed up with DC. They are mostly along the lines of good techniques and tips which once you understand how to do them you don't really need the stickies anymore. Maybe if there was a way to combine all of the stickies to another place on DC where new comers will be able to get to and read them easily. Just a thought if you were thinking about getting rid of any. So I think they are helpful to some and not so helpful to others. Just IMO.

I would put the pad thing on stickie, and a few key questions, but not overdo it.

I find it a little hard to believe that with over 100 views that only 10 people voted.

I think if they were a bright color like orange and in a bold text they would be easier to see. Thus making them helpful.

And maybe something in the sign up process to make sure that they take a look at them. And to use the search button more often.

They are stickied at the top of some of the Sub-forums, just below the rules.

I think they would be helpfull if new members couldnt post for 10 days, with a note that says, "read the stickies"
