Most Underrated Product - 02-09-2005, 05:47 AM

What product do you use and really like but never or hardly ever see it written about on here? Mine is Ultimate Paint Cleaner. I only read a few opinions on it so I was hesitant but curious to buy it. I ordered it and used it on my wife's silver metallic. After an Ultimate Carwash Shampooing and some UPC the car was sparkling. I was pleasantly surprised/impressed with the appearance. It definitely had that "clean" look and the silver was shining. After the UPC on went Vanilla Moose+UPP+1/2 Natty's the other 1/2 Paste Glaz. The car turned out gorgeous. Now whenever I want to "clean" my wife's car I pick up the UPC(of course after washing).

Diamondite Speed Clay without a question is the most underrated product I use. I use it not only as a clay with the included sponge (It takes a leap of faith to use that sponge!) but as a lube with regular clay and a tough spot cleaner - tar, bugs, waterspots, whatever.

Fasten Your Seat Belt! It helps keep the aliens from sucking you out of the car.

I would have to say Meg's ColorX. It's cheap, readily available, and does a fine job of cleaning the paint.

I don't believe in grit guards.

Klasse Vinyl, Leather, Rubber And Plastic Cleaner Protectant. Nobody ever talks about that. It is an awesome product. I use it to clean sloppy polish off of black plastic trim or around the sunroof. It does a great job at cleaning. People say it smells bad, but I actually like it. I've been really selfish with mine and I only use it on my cars. Screw the customer. They'll have to make due with other brand trim restoration products. lol

AIO gets overlooked a lot but it is a great base for any LSP and it looks great by itself. I don't want to start a bunch of posts about how much or how little protection AIO has by itself...it worked for me.

AIO is my go to base for any carnuba and looks great with every sealant I've tried with it.

Most underrated I would have to go with Trade Secret, I just got my first jar of Souveran the other day and it sure smells and looks exactly like Trade Secret, at half the price. Some others would have to be 4* Spray Wax +, and Adam's metal polish 1 and 2.

I would have to say FK1 products. look below

edit: Let's try and post pics that aren't quite so huge, ok? If you can't see it all on one screen then its not really that helpful to post it.

I must have gotten a bad batch of something, because my Souveran is "Ivory" and my Trade Secret is "Green." :dunno
They both have the same freaking hard to open type of jar, though.

I would say that Hi-Temps Light Cut is often overlooked as a polish. It very simple to use, and very inexpensive. Really a fantastic product to use when prepping your car.
