Hello from Spring, Tx - 10-21-2009, 05:43 PM

Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum and I look forward to learning about detailing and using the right products to get the best results on my cars. I have a 1994 Impala SS, 2004 Dodge Durango Hemi, 2008 Impala LT, the Impala is garage kept and finally parked for good. I do need to find a good wax that will help keep both the Durango and Impala LT protected from the weather. I currently use Meguir's NXT wax products but I was told that the Professional Yellow Wax will hold better to the year round weather abuse. Any advice I would appreciate greatly.

Thanks,
Mag

Welcome to the site from Sonoma County CA

Lots of info on wax here, a sealant would be my suggestion if you are looking for durability

Howdy neighbor and welcome. Just down the road from you in Tomball.

Always good to see another Texan join the detailing ranks.

Belly up to the bar at this ice house and settle back for enjoyable conversation, intriguing insight and a fountain of knowledge.

I see how the people on the forum use high quality products but I'm hoping that I can find some information about Meguair products since I can get those at the auto part stores. I want to try #21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0 and some clay bars. Looking for a long lasting protectant for my cars as I just don't have time to wax the car every 3 months and I really don't want to neglect the paint finish on my cars either.
