45 minutes west of disney? So i'm guessing you're in good ole' polk county, lakeland/auburndale area? I live in auburndale myself.

This area is highly saturated with mobile car washers. I can only think of 2 that stand out to me as professionals, williams auto detailing and attention to details. Maybe you remember me as well, i had suds on the run, big red chevy and red enclosed trailer. I shut down 2 years ago but still have my rig and equip.

Good luck with getting started, it won't be easy in this area but it can be done. Since your in my area if you ever need some tips or have a question on where to get good wholesale supplies just pm me on here

Welcome to DC.

You might consider just doing exteriors. You might be able to break into the lot washing market which can be good. I don't know too many guys who started pressure washing and added detailing to their services. It's usually the other way around.

Good talking with you last night.

Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It's good to be da King !!!

I know with every thing slow was hoping to just add little more to my business. I am thinking about car lots just because want to get my foot in the door when they need building wash or garage need to be degrease I am already there. What I am reading you need spot free system whick cost a lot money. I know yelled at here but was also thinking simple splash & dash car wash simple get the dirt off no waxing wash and go for like 35-45 dallors just to get infront of the costumers. I know my erea is very cheap eldery will only pay 35-45 for detail job.

Welcome, Chris!

Don't get discouraged... there are plenty of "stables" here... four and five premium car collections... doctors', lawyers', Publix execs' vehicles. There's lots of old family citrus and chemical money in central FL.

Tell everyone you meet what you're doing and how your service differs from the $50 car wash guys.

Give me a shout on PM if you're over this way.
