Sleak from Australia! - 10-14-2009, 07:28 AM

Hello everyone,
My name is Rhys and Im from Queensland Australia!
I have recently started working as a professional detailer for a mobile waterless detail company, but have been detailing (as far as my knowledge has let me) ever since I bought my first car!

Im on this site to grow my knowledge in the art of Detailing. The company I work for has a set range of products that we use which are amazing, but I would like to increase my knowledge of paint rejuvenation and processes that give the ultimate finish. I may not use them in my profession, but the knowledge would be beneficial if the opportunity comes up, as well as working on my own car!

I drive an imported Mitsubishi Galant VR4. Twin Turbo 2.5l AWD. Mild modifications and currently looking into fixing up the paint from years of abuse. With the light polishes and a clay bar, it is looking a million times better then it did, but would like to learn more so I can make it look better!

If anyone can give me any links or advice to procedures in all areas of detailing, I would appreciate it! Knowledge is power after all!!

Here are some photos from my day to day detailing...

My car...

Sorry if that is too many photos... I couldn't decide which to put up, I have hundreds more... these are the highlights I guess!!

Welcome.

Enjoy the place, lots of good people.

Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It's good to be da King !!!
