New Guy From Ohio - 09-30-2009, 10:52 AM

I've been lurking here for a little while, and finally decided to join up! I've already gotten lots of good info here.

I guess you could say that I'm pretty much a hobby detailer at this point, but I'm hoping that will change soon. Like a lot of you pros probably started out, I've maintained my own cars- I've got a 1980 Camaro Z28 (my toy), and a 1999 Grand Prix GT Coupe, and I do wash & waxes and interior cleaning for my girlfriend, mother, and neighbors. I'm currently without work after losing my manufacturing job of many years recently, and I'm looking to get a little more serious about detailing. My goal is to open a shop of my own once I'm more confident about my knowledge and abilities (that's where you guys come in ).

Anyway, I just wanted introduce myself and say that I'm looking forward to learning from this forum!

Mark
