Haven't been on lately. Bought a 2nd Detailing Van. - 08-12-2010, 09:11 PM

Well, It has been a while since I have logged on here. Business has been crazy busy. Dealerships and Retail details are up. Been on vacation to get away from everything, and then decided to buy another van to work on/set up for a detailing van. (Second actually)

Well, here are a few teaser pictures:

My current Detailing Rig on the left (95 Safari) and the new addition on the right (99 Astro). Ladder rack and light have been taken off and sold.

Needs some Detailing for sure. I have been working on it slowly when I have time. Hoping for it to be on the road and working on it in 3 more weeks.

I willl start a new thread in the "detailer mobile set-up/rig" section of the build up and clean up.....

If you cannot tell, I like white vehicles. Only 3 so far. Have a silver Sentra too. Odd one out I guess. Looking at buying a four door truck close to the end of the year. Can you guess what color I will be looking for? lol

Good to hear business is going well! I take it you're planning on getting an employee or two to run the second rig?

I already have 2 part timers. One rig may run part time. May set up my current one for wholesale details at dealerships and such. I don't trust anyone but ME with a buffer....
So, simple interior details/wash and waxes are all my part timers do...

Always nice to have a back-up for those times when you suffer a mechanical breakdown, or just need some PM work done. Congratulations on the expansion.
