My Mobile Setup - 02-24-2009, 11:29 PM

My name is Joshua and I thought I would share my mobile setup. I currently have my own business, basically a weekend job here in Columbus, Ohio. Here are the pics. The last three pics are of my Company Logo, my dad's 328i that needs my attention, and I wanted to show you guys the famous newbie spare hood for rotary practice! Haha. The logo I just had put on my rear window. I noticed that TMAC here on the site has a similar design. I promise I did not steal it. I paid a graphic designer to create that logo, visited this site the other night with my girlfriend and saw Tmac's business card. Haha! Sorry Tmac. I thought she had something original.

Last, the truck is fairly new. Bought it in August 08 brand new, has 8000 miles on the clock. Its a 08 F150 XL regular cab, V6 engine. Enjoy guys. Looking forward to posting more in the spring!!!!!

What's all the white stuff on the ground?

J/K man. Nice setup. Keep practicing with that rotary! You will love it once you get comfortable with it.

What's funny about the ice is there was none when I started washing my truck and my dad's car. My parents then walked outside and were asking why I created a skating rink. Haha. I will eventually get used to the rotary. It's one of those things that takes practice. Thanks for the encouragement!!!

I see that you have a return line coming from your PW and was wondering if anyone here knows how to rig that. One of my biggest time wasters is having to turn my PW on and off, so not to burn the pump up.

Thanks TMac. It took this graphic designer about a month and 1/2 to come up with that logo. We basically communicated through emails. Then, last week I got on the site and saw your business card. It looks great to. You have the truck silouette, I am representing the car. Haha. Thanks for the compliment!!

That was a big selling point for me on this unit. It also has the garden hose already connected to the top in case I run out of water I can just connect and fill. Then it has a mechanism installed to keep the tank from overflowing when I fill up in case I run off and forget to turn the water off. You saw its a Honda engine which is what I wanted. Have you moved to PA yet?? I am heading to Chapel Hill in three weeks, can't wait!!

Not yet, going up there for my daughters B-day party tomorrow, maybe I will get a renewed sense of actually wanting to move. I really enjoy detailing and I am afraid that I won't be able to stay as busy as I want up there.

It can look like an old panel truck depending on how you look at it

Just remember that you can get away with not having everything all at once...start with what you really need and earn the cash to buy more..extending yourself out on paper could be the end to your start-up

I started out in my Mom's garage with the basics for product...old bath towels for cleaning and drying and her vacuum..I was mainly a wash / wax detailer but that's what it grew from
