    At work we use dewalt polishers and after a few passes your arms are DEAD tired...i think it has to weigh around10-15 pounds....





    how much does the PC weigh?

    I think the DeWalt tips the scales at a little over 7 lbs. The PC isn`t that much lighter... Maybe 5 lbs.



    *Edit: Just checked and the PC is just under 6 lbs with a pad and backing plate.

    The DW849 weighs 8.25 lbs, the PC 5.75 lbs, which is about 30% less.



    That’s about the same as the weight difference between a Honda S2000 and a Pilot. In other words, it’s a lot.



    Having used both in the same session my personal opinion is that the difference in feel between the two is huge.
