removing creases from fords pleather seats

my 2011 f150 with fords awesome pleather is looking a lil haggard. starting to develop saggy spots and mild creases. i was thinking maybe a clothes steamer or a heat gun on the lowest setting??

By creases, you mean wrinkles? If it is wrinkled, then you cannot remove them...

It`s like wrinkles in your skin... You never remove them, but by taking care of the material you can reduce their appearance somewhat. The first step is cleaning them thoroughly, its amazing how much the wrinkles "disappear" once the dirt is cleaned out of the crease. Diluted BLACKFIRE All Purpose Cleaner (10:1) and a soft brush works wonders on vinyl..

Then treat with BLACKFIRE Interior Protectant.

i clean it every other week with 10:2 woolite

That looks really good. It looks like your vinyl/leather/pleather is aging nicely.

If you use Woolite as a cleaner I would suggest using a wet (not damp) cloth to wipe after it, then dry carefully. I have actually contacted woolite about using their products to clean interior pieces, since it was a popular suggestion years ago.

Woolite does not recommend using their products for the cleaning of any material that cannot be flushed with water to remove all trace residues. Additionally, woolite did not know about, nor agree with, the Cadillac owner`s manual that had suggested using their products on leather.

In my experience it is a safe cleaner that should not cause any long-term damage (although I remember one well-educated gentleman who pointed out two chemicals in woolite`s MSDS that were not leather friendly), but it can be difficult to remove the residue completely. This leads to quicker resoiling.

Just a suggestion, I l think the seats look great.
