    Poor Mans Extractor

20140415_212241.jpgNot sure if this has been done before but I had been using a Bissell little green as an extractor, this took me forever so I had an idea. My Ridgid wet/dry vac seemed like it had enough muscle (4hp 9gallon) to extract but I could not get it to extract with any of the available attachments.
I had purchased my little green on craigslist for 10 bucks and I wondered if I used the little greens extractor nozzle and somehow modified it on my ridgid hose it might work.
Last week I decided to go for it and purchased an extra hose for the ridgid and modified the little greens nozzle, this weekend I tried it on a horrific interior and all I can say is OMG WOW it works amazing.
Unfortunately I forgot to take before and after pics will take some this weekend.

Here are some pics of my PME (poor mans extractor)
    Thoughts???

    Vacuum cleaner plastic surgery!

Does it still squirt clean water? I don`t see the clear water container or the hose.

So you spray the carpet manually, then vac it up?
