I can`t wash or polish anything with this stuff hanging around; in fact, I cannot even open the garage door! :smile

Man I feel for you. Hope the garage door situation can be remedied though!!
Ok now i really want it to snow here. Do you know how many inches fell??
You must be a skier. And I want you to have it. Keep it up on the mountains for those who need it to play. I`m not far from Whistler Ski slopes so if I want to SEE it, I can go there! lol.Originally Posted by Pockets@PoorboysWorld
Just over 1 foot here and it`s been on the ground for a while. This usually never happens in Vancouver, BC. Our weather is like San Francisco most of the time. And when it does snow, it`s gone the next day! I`ve been riding the bus when I NEED to go out (seldom) and have just about forgotten how to use them!
Thats not too bad. Looks like your average winter day.
Snowboarder but i havent been able to snowboard in like 3 years becasue i tore my ACL in my right knee dirt bike riding 3 years ago.Originally Posted by sillywilly88

Maybe for Calgary, but it is in no way an average winter day here. If I wanted snow, I`d be living in Calgary (also cause I think you don`t pay taxes). We pay a total of 13%.Originally Posted by sneek
Sorry to hear about your knee. I never rode a dirt bike but I`ve had 2 new 2006 Suzuki bikes. The first, a GS500F I rode for just over 3550 KM and traded it on a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard M50 Cruiser (805cc) which I like much better. Put it on the road Feb 24 this year and already have 23,500+ KM on it. Have had it serviced 5 times already. It`s a great hobby and I`ve only been riding for just over 15 months total. Not bad for a guy whose gonna be 73 in January, eh?Originally Posted by Pockets@PoorboysWorld
we pay 7%, no pst for us. On the flip side we have the higest cost of living in canada (yes its higher then toronto or vancover) as well as one of the highest costs of living in canada. It costs more to get office space in calgary compared to anywhere else in the worldOriginally Posted by sillywilly88

Sympathy I wasn`t looking for and don`t need. That`s between sh-t and syphl-s in the dictionary. The streets are now snowless and hopefully it will disappear from the sidewalks and lawns soon. At least I can get my garage open now.Originally Posted by CalgaryDetail
You like it cause of where you are used to living so like the saying goes, every snake has it`s mate (nothing evil intended in that remark). lol.
