Had a Guy at Gun Point Friday.

I half expected the cops to show up to arrest me half way through my detail Friday. I was just finishing up washing my customer's car in a parking lot when a frantic looking guy standing by the back of my truck startled me. As I was walking back to shut off my pressure washer I had the pressure gun aimed in his general direction and he acted like I was gonna shoot him.

I turned off the pressure washer and proceeded to be friendly with the guy as he is standing there all jittery like he was on drugs. With a frightened look on his face he begins our conversation with "Is that stuff toxic? Do you know you're are poisoning us? Is that stuff toxic?"

I then tried to put the guy at ease by stating that it was not toxic and showed him I was using my car wash soap and wheel cleaner without gloves and I still had my skin and was breathing normally.

This guy was so disturbed at what I was doing it was comical to me. I honestly could have taken a bottle of Spray Wax and chased him around the parking lot with it. Thank you EPA for all your scare tactics. It seems to be working on a few.

By the way, I was not getting Punk'd. Although I did look around for the cameras.

If I had to guess, I would say he was definitely being medicated with something.

I should consider myself lucky, in all my years of detailing, that was the first and only time someone showed concern about how toxic the products I used are.
