Sounds exactly like the guy next door to me, he would always see me outside washing my truck, and each time tell me the same thing, why wash it, it's just gonna get dirty again.

Also knew a guy that would use powdered detergent and a brush like you see at the do it yourself wash places. The finish felt like a black board. I would just always say good job buddy.

I once seen my neighbor wash his very dirty car with a kitchen towel and a bucket of steaming hot water! I watched and he did rinse the rag a few times in the same bucket though. I felt like asking him if he has ever tried car soap, or a wash mitt before. but sometimes it seems that people are stubborn.

oh it was a black Honda accord he was working on or "sanding", I checked it out the next day to find that it was scratched very badly and there were smears and dirt still on the car.

I just don't get it!
