I have been posting on the web since 2004 I am familiar with vBulletin But I can not post a picture up to this site I thought maybe my post was not high enuf some forums I have been to you have to have @ least 20 ,

WEEEELLLLllllll I still can not upload.

Anyone?

Please some help over here.

I've had similar probs. I can't post pics from my blackberry in threads. Only the member gallery. I didn't think much of it. I borrowed my brothers pc to do a write up on a job I did Saturday. Spent an hour loading my pics onto the pc and another hour uploading just to get some security error. I just got pissed and said forget it. Maybee when my new pc gets here it will work...

This is less than a year old HP lap top running vista!

Detailing , For me is more than compound wax & rags.

& if I could post my pics I could show Y'ALL what I mean.

I even down sized them to a handheld size.

I guess I will have to dig out & fire up my old PC running XP & see if that works.

Are you hosting your pics through a hosting site or trying to upload straight to DC?
I started out by using photobucket and pasting the IMG code into my threads, it's the only way I know how to do it and it's free. The nice thing about Photobucket is I can also get a direct link code for linking to my pics while in live chat rooms. Give it a try if you haven't yet.

I have been tying thru the straight up method.

the pics above are hosted @ www.hotrodders.com

I have a Photo bucket account I guess I will have to figure out how to make albums there.

This is my old E machines Back up PC after my other crashed.

I have thousands of pictures & this PC is primarily just a live back up for those pictures.

I will try from here if NADA then I guess Photo bucket is the way to go .

I guess I need to go to the Puter forums & learn how to SYNC my XP & VISTA together its gonna be a lot of work keeping up with all them pictures.

Is it possible you're exceeding the size limits of the site with the pictures you're trying to upload?

I even tried 240X180.

In my past experience if the file is too large it would say that on the failed message.

And Yes they are JPEG.

There has got to be something blocking me .

I will try another site & see if its on my end.

OK to everyone who posted "it works for me" do you ever try to use the "manage attachment button below the text input window? & the upload file from your computer buttons?

Other sites will make a thumbnail that you can click on & get a big picture.

Does anyone know if this options is turned on by the Owner / Operator?
