Pictures Pictures Pictures or the lack there of

I am having trouble working the photobucket albums.

Like I have on my pc a folder of "details" & in that folder I have a few folders of jobs I've done I cant seem to get them to all go under "details" at the moment

So I will muddle around it until I either get pizzed or figure it out.

You know I have been reading here for a while & come to think of it I never see thumbnails @ the bottom of the posts.

The Owner must have that turned off to save bandwidth or server space or some other technical thing temporally out of my knowledge base.

Is the owner a active member here ?

Just FYI - I use the manage attachments button most, if not all, of the time when I upload photos. You have to be patient with it. I usually try to limit it to just a few photos at a time as well. Maybe you could try uploading just one or two and see what happens.

Post Reply > Scroll Down > Click Manage Attachments > Click Browse > Find Photo to upload > Click Upload

Works for me. Are you doing exactly what I wrote above?

If it isn't working. Exactly what is it doing? White screen? Error Message? Computer start smoking? Redirect to another website?

~Click "reply to post" button.

~Enter text into test input screen.

~Scroll down to manage attachment button .

~Click Browse button {10 of them}.

~Pick 1st one .

{I am using vista}

~Go to pictures folder.

~Dig thru my folders to find the picture I want to post {I have two folders one I keep full size & one I call "net Pix" I down size them to 640 X 480}.

~Double click photo.

~Next to the 10th Browse button there is a upload button click , I that.

~Then I wait.

~Then I get a message says upload failed , no reason why .
{sometimes if the pix is too big it will tell you file too large}.

I have been on forums since 2004 .I have posts thousands of pictures .I am missing something here.

Maybe I have to clean out the temporary files ?

There must be something on my computer blocking me.

I can not believe it would be the site blocking me , UNLESS there is a minimum post clause.


But why can I post on another site & not tthis one?

I just took your picture saved it & I cant upload it either so its not the picture format.

I am going to try cleaning the temp internet files.
