Problems accessing the site

Well I moved us to a bigger, better server because people were having trouble accessing the site and now more people are having trouble.


I'm being told this is a technical issue that will fix itself within a few days. Meanwhile there is one other thing that can be tried. Try using the www. in front of detailcity.org or if you have been using the www. then try without it.

It has been working fine for me.

It's in the hands of the programmer now.
Like anything else, we just have to give it our best effort and hope that's good enough.

FWIW, With no changes whatsoever on my part since earlier today, I now have access. Go figure.

Anyway, I'll take it.

As a software engineer, I've used that line more than once. The next best one is "Have you tried rebooting your machine?"

Yes!
Several times.
And it made no difference.

It fixed itself.

no problems here but I know Jared(Beavis)Pointer is having all sorts of problems , but only during the day at his job go figure

I have the same problem as Jared. It works at home but not at work. We'll see what happens today

maybe it only affects people that have the first initial "J"

Unfortunately, that is not the case.
It is very sporadic for me. More off than on.
Same computer, same settings, just sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

Absolutely!
Gearhead_1 hasn't been able to log in since the server change over.
I'm probably up to about a 30% success rate now.
