The worst part of detailing...

When two days after completing a 20 hour detail and coating, the customer calls you up and says, "I was looking on line for how to best wash a car, and I went and bought a truck brush...."

My favorite part of detailing is when I use a product that just works really well, is easy to use, and I`m getting great results without working too hard.

Because, I`m basically lazy. So if something is working out easier than I planned - I`m happy.

Worse part is when It rains or snows when your car is clean.

Glass is a PITA.
When it rains during of just after a wash.

Lug nut recesses
47 layers of greasy tire dressing
Baked-on bugs
Road paint in the wheel wells
Jambs
The creases in weather stripping where little pieces of dirt get trapped
Sticky paint
Black paint
Vacuum resistant carpets
Children (lol)
That`s all I can think of now.

I don`t know if you guys are into this, but removing bad window tint and tint glue is the absolute worst. There are some crummy jobs on the list here but I would say this is easily the worst part.

Drying. Hate it. I have the best towels and a master blaster and still dread it.
