detailed the pick up of a neighbor`s brother visiting from West by God Virginia. they had a pretty bad winter and he was glad to get it done. had some new old stock menzerna one step acrylic jacket (cleaner, polish, sealant) and was surprised how well it worked. can anyone advise what menzerna new product is similar? the closest i could find was Menzerna APO 60 Sealing Wax

Had a boat, Car, and suv lined up for my four days off. Guess what, it rained and all had to be rescheduled.

Tried out some meguiar`s DUB metal polish on my exhaust tip after I washed my car. Also applied some sonus acrylic glanze to boost the 7 month old klasse on the car.

Menzerna color lock after a quick PB waterless wash.

Love color lock, super simple to apply by DA and effortless removal.

I spent about 6 hours on my truck. Wash and wax with Wolfgang Rudolph. It was a pleasure to apply and remove. The pollen is piling up but not any worse than it was before the fresh wax.

Did my spring/summer polish on my daily.

Washed, clayed using a nanoskin autoscrub sponge, polished with M205, followed by ultimate liquid wax, glazed with M7 just to try it out and finished with M26.

Re: What did you do detailing wise today?

Cleaned up my MKZ to get ready for the final polishing and protecting tomorrow.

    The initial process:
    • Cleaned wheel are with Optimum Power Clean -- OPC did not get off all the tire brown so will get that tomorrow with Mothers tire cleaner
    • Foam with Auto Finesse Avalanche (Cam Spray foam cannon) - cleans very nicely
    • Emblem and fuel filler prewash with P21s TAW
    • Foam with Ultima Paint Guard Wash using my new Griots Foam Gun
    • Wash two bucket with Ultima and PB Wash Mitt
    • Dried with the Master Blaster
    • Cleaned jambs with Ultima WWW+
    • Finished with an adult beverage

Tomorrow: clean tires, prep trim for protectant, paint clean, sealant, wax.

Not a bad image for 1/40 sec @ f10 ISO6400 (final image exposure reduced about 1 stop) and no NR applied in Lightroom.
