    CQuartz vs. Road Tar

I just noticed this on my car today and was slightly worried considering I have nothing like Tar-X or Tarminator, but it turned out water was just about enough. One spray of Adam`s APC and 2 seconds of agitation with a boar`s hair brush and it was off. Had I used a pressure washer, water alone probably would have done it.

The car had not been washed in over 1,000 miles and as you can see, CQuartz was still beading away on a dirty car.

And that is a comforting thought! I hear from reliable sources that GTechniq C1 and EXO is nothing to sneeze at either.

Would love to know if you have personally tried GTECH EXO. I havew not used the CQuartz UK and would love a comparison.

I haven`t, but I`ve heard good things about it. I like how UK darkens the paint and the gloss. Did a one step polish with HD Polish on my hard black MB paint and the UK really took it to the next level.

Put Optimum Gloss Coat on my painted wheels. I can say from my initial observations, UK wins in looks.

I think you wasted 5 gallons of water on one small spot of tar. Just use APC earlier next time!
