Anyone got any feelings about Eagle One`s Wax as you Dry?
I`ve used it before and think its a good product that gives good results.
Anyone have any idea what is in it?

I havn`t used it but I doubt it works well. How can a product that you simply spray on while drying work as good as other waxes that you apply thin even coats with? Seems like a good product to market to the lazy pepboys customers but not to true enthusiasts.

I thought it gave a nice pop to an already treated car. Very nice for in between treatments.
It`s interesting to hear all sides. This is one product that I have not heard much about in these forums.
It seemed to do what I expected. Made the car easy to dry with no streaks and left the paint shiny.
Of course my car is usually easy to dry and is usually shiny after it is washed.

Whether the product is worth having, I can`t truly say.
FWIW, after I finished the one bottle, I didn`t replace it.

I use this stuff frequently and find it to be a great in between details product. There are a lot of discussions going on about this product on some of the other detailing boards. Most of the reviews that I have seen concerning the product have been favorable.

Great post. Very recent too. It sounds like the concensus is pretty much in favor of the stuff. I`ve had nothing but positive experiences. I`m just wondering what`s in it.Originally posted by GearHead_1

I`ve looked, can`t find an MSDS sheet on it. All the container says is: special blend of water-reactive polymers & waxes. I`ve seen some debate as to whether this should be used while drying your vehcile only or as a quick detailer. Eagle One`s site recommends using the product both ways. I use it while drying my vehicle and haven`t tried it as a quick detailer. I love Final Detail (though it`s going away, bought 3 gallons while I could) as my quick detailer of choice and don`t have a great cause to switch. I`m sure I`ll give it a try at some point.
TheSopranos16 is right, this is no replacement for a quality detail but I do recommend it for the times in between details. It leaves a pretty slick finish.

Thanks for all the good input guys. Your replies have been very helpful.:-p
I use it on my "wash only" details that I do. I see it as an extra courtesy to customers.

The stuff`s not bad at all. Nice for that wash before a long highway trip for a bit of extra protection against the elements or to give a fading wax an extra week or so if you can`t attend to it properly. I think it has a place in the arsenal. Not a big place, but a place nevertheless.
I use it on my clearcoated wheels after every wash. Seems to work against brake dust.
Excellent product, and not meant as anything other than an inbetween protectant. I use it as a QD also...Always keep it on my shelf....

It really isn`t that bad of a product. I had to try it out, simply because I wanted to see if the claim was legit. As stated before, it`s good for a maintenance, but don`t expect a lot of durability out of it. I would compare it to a lower grade Poorboy`s QD+. WAYD is a lot more milkier, but along the same lines.
Tassadar--
That is a good service to add to a wash only. However, I`d like to make a suggestion. Start using Meg`s Final Detail. Not only is it less expensive, it does provide a greater shine, and wipes off easier. I spray it on there as I am drying with a WW Microfiber. As for durability, you might use WAYD since it will last a few days longer, not sure :dunno Just a suggestion though
