Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner Review

I received a bottle of Tuf Shine tire cleaner this week from Todd for review. I got a chance to use it on Saturday on 2 details.
TUF SHINE had the following instructions:
TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner is designed to cleanse your tires of any polymers, silicones, waxes, grease, or dressing. If you don`t clean your tires often they can become stained with brake dust and road grime residues. If your tires have been the victim of cheap tire dressings they may be coated in faded, hard to remove dressing. TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner quickly and effectively deep cleans your tires, removing any contamination, and leaves them clean and natural. If you are going to treat your tires with TUF SHINE Tire Clear Coat you must use this product first to guarantee proper performance.

TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner is not an all purpose cleaner designed for multiple uses. It is a dedicated tire cleaner, designed to deep clean rubber surfaces. Use TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner prior to applying TUF SHINE Tire Clear Coat or any tire dressing for best results. You can use TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner to clean stained rubber floor mats as well.

Caution: May cause minor spotting on some uncoated aluminum wheels. These can be polished out. With TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner, you only clean the tires once with the cleaner to prep the tire. Do not use after TUF SHINE Tire Clearcoat is applied.

Application Instructions:

1. DO NOT clean tires in direct sunlight or when the tires are hot.
2. Spray cleaner on tire and allow to stand for 30 to 60 seconds.
3. DO NOT ALLOW CLEANER TO DRY ON WHEELS OR PAINT.
4. Wet a bristle scrubbing brush and scrub tires thoroughly, working the cleaner into a lather. REPEAT this process a second or third time for extremely dirty tires.
5. The suds should appear white when the tire is properly cleaned. Remember, TUF SHINE Tire Clearcoat will stick to rubber, but it will not stick to silicone from old dressings.

I sprayed the tires with TUF SHINE one at a time and let it set for about 30 seconds. The tires were in good shape and looked clean, until sprayed with TUF SHINE. The second the spray hit the tire dirt started to run down the tire. I let it set and then scrubbed it with a tire brush.
The results were great. I`ve been using a APC on the tires and have not really liked the results. TUF SHINE is a great tire cleaning product. I usually use only one coat of tire dressing, but actually used two coats on these tires. I think that the tires got a little cleaner than normal. From what I read about TUF SHINE the tire dressing should last a little longer than normal due to it`s cleaning properties.
I would give TUF SHINE an excellent rating and will be buying it to use as my tire cleaner from now on. I bottle will clean several vehicle`s because I only used a couple of sprays on each tire. A little really does go along way with TUF SHINE!
I tried to post pictures but they kept failing to upload. Not really sure what I did wrong. BUt trust me the tires looked clean but after spraying twith TUF SHINE dirt that you could not see just ran off. It really good stuff.

Great review. I love Tuff Shine Tire Cleaner. It pulls so much crap from the tire. Did you try the Tire Brush with it? It`s excellent.

I will have to try this product out. I`m not fully satisfied with my APC when it comes to tire cleaning. Thanks for the review.

I didn`t try the tire brush, but I did try the TUF SHINE Applicator and really like them. i`ll let you know after I use them several times, but so far the applicator looks like it will hold up well.

Thanks for sharing. I have been really impressed with this tire cleaner, it deep cleans and removes dirt from tires that already appear clean.

IT has a chemical type smell. They could probably send it to Chemical Guys to improve that part.
