I have a better washing bucket AG SHOULD SELL THESE - 03-16-2010, 02:03 PM

I saw a post about this a long time ago I think it was on MOL but I don't remember who it was but I have been going to try it ever since I read about it.
I got this about a week ago and tried it today.
I will never wash my vehicle again without it.

This is made for a paint roller and they are sold at ACE Hardware $3.99
it has more bite coming up than going down so you have a choice but I rubbed my microfiber mitt on it both down and up and while it really bites on the up stroke it did not harm my mitt but was awesome how it cleaned.

This cleans far better than the grit guard and you don't need to run your arm half way too your elbow in cold water to clean the mitt.

I'm not saying you don't need the grit guard because you do I had a lot of sand in the bottom of the bucket when finished the guard kept it their but this thing really cleans.
Photo with both guards in bucket.

I think it would be pretty ridiculous if AG carried them. I mean, if they did, why would you buy online, pay more, and plus shipping? Those are sold locally at any hardware store, walmart, target, etc..... Maybe it's just me.....

I seen someone use one and I think they wrote a review. Said nothing but good things about it. Cleaned the mitt a little better if I recall.

No it don't clean a little better it cleans a whole lot better.

In some parts of the country it would not be as advantageous as Northern Indiana in the winter when you have sand clinging to the car.
Today I used a microfiber mitt next time I will try it with a sheep skin mitt see if it works as well.

I have looked at that at Lowes for awhile now but didnt want to post it......They also have a 2 sided bucket and the roller grill fits in it well.

I have not seen those at Lowes but the one that I got from ACE hardware fits perfect for a 5 gal. bucket with a grit guard in it.

Without the grit guard it would probably still work ok but it would hang vertical.
