Thumbs up Best vapor cleaner for car detailing... - 02-02-2010, 09:41 PM

Hi everyone,
wanted to see if anyone has any positive or negative with vapor cleaners. I'm currently looking to incorporate a vapor cleaner into my arsenal of tools. Current models that I am considering:
1. Vapor Clean Unilux 3000 Commercial Steam Cleaner
2. Vapor Clean TR5 Pro Stainless
3. WhiteWing vapor cleaner
4. Desiderio Auto
5. The Commercial 3000 Steam Vapor Cleaner

Any personal experience on any of these or any others not listed would be greatly appreciated!!!

I had a vapor clean and I loved it. I would suggest either one of them. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. Mine was stolen a few months ago along with a dewalt buffer, ozone machine, and mytee extractor.

That is a good looking unit. How long have you had it? How much use does it get? Are you happy with it's performance (heating time etc.).

My current vapor unit still sits in its Sterlite storage container. I'm thinking about taking it to a vac shop to see if anyone can help me with it. The boiler still works, it just won't put out any steam. I've been too darned stubborn to purchase a replacement.

I used mine for inside chores as well. All I used on the lineoleum kitchen and bathroom flooring, spot cleaning carpet "oops", counter tops, bath/shower tile, outdoors on the charcaol grill etc. etc. Great tool...when it was working

Thanks for the advices... I ended up buying a Unilux 3000, a Edic Galaxy 500bx-hr with 2000 watt external heater and a Fein Turbo II wet dry vac... I think a great package for my business
