Blackfire needs SERIOUS improvement and can probably be ignored.

I was in my local Big Lots about 2 weeks ago and they had brushes but not OXO.
No Meguiars either must have sold all of them but I bought a bunch of those when they had them.
I never will use up all of them.

Big Lots is not a regular stop for me, but I don't remember ever seeing any OXO brushes there.
They do seem to have a few generic brushes, but not "hundreds" of them.
They did have the Meguiar's brushes after Meguiar's discontinued them and I did buy a few. Hopefully, not a lifetime supply.

FWIW, the Big Lots I have access to has very little in the way of detailing supplies. That's one reason I rarely stop there.
Of course my stopping rarely could also be why I miss the terrific deals I hear about. I kind of doubt that since their inventory doesn't seem to turn very often. When they had the Meguiar's brushes, they must have had them for months.

Sorry off topic, but Big Lots, all of them around here are getting crappier and crappier. They used to have some good stuff, actual stuff from stores that were closing. Wax applicators 4 for 99 cents. Now the have nothing. Bog Lots here has become nothing more than any other cheap, junk store.

We only have one and you described it perfectly.
I'm pretty sure they now carry some products under the "Big Lots" brand name. They may be abandoning the pretense of being a clearance or outlet store.
Hey, cheap junk worked for Wal-Mart.

True Charles, but Wal Mart is an empire. Big Lots wouldn't be able to compete with them, even on the smallest level. I classify BL in the category with Dollar Stores

BL is totally different type of store than Wal-Mart you will not buy any close out items at WM

If you go at the right time you can but quality items at a real good price like when I bought the Meguiars brushes at less than half price.

While it is true that they seldom have anything worth while for auto detailing at BL they sometimes do have.
Last summer I bought 6 bottles of Meguiars quick wheel mist for less than half price.
Just got to be their at the right time.
