Simply put a sealant does the same thing as a wax but the protection last longer.
If you have used a rotary to get rids of imperfections then you might sidle up to a glaze for it can hide minor imperfections and save a session with the rotary until the next wash. For some say that glazes tend to wear off quicker than either waxes or sealants.
Although that may now be an exception rather than the rule these days. I have limited experience with glazes. Black Hole from
Poorboy's has proven to last more than a few washes in my foray into the world of glaze.
